I bought a desktop version of this computer. I've heard I can move the components into a tower to use a full height video card. Is this true and what adjustments would I need to make to do this?

The Optiplex GX620 DT uses a BTX form factor (BTX case / BTX motherboard) instead of the more typical ATX form factor.

You would need to find a BTX tower case (probably from Dell) to be able to make the switch. GX620 MT (mini tower) would be an OK choice. Looking on Ebay or other auction sites might be your best source.
You would likely need a power supply for that BTX tower which is probably a good thing since the GX620 DT stock 280W PSU makes using most recent mid or high end full size video cards impossible.

Hey, I just bought the same PC planning on playing some older games like Counter Strike: Source. The system I bought is the Mid Tower but I will need to add a video card. I was wondering if you knew what video cards are compatible with the Intel chipset in this system and what kind of power supply is needed. Thanks

well ........300w power supply is enough to run this card and also hd5670 which i think is better.........
the only question i have is that 5670 can fit in gx620 case sizewise because it uses the space of two cards not one.........also 4670 uses dual slot space if it fits then maybe......5670 can fit in gx620 mid tower also.......... plz reply..........
