In the New Build forum I was directed to use the following G.SKILL memory with the Gigabyte P55-USB3 board:

G.SKILL F3-12800CL7D-4GBECO Eco PC3-12800 4GB 2X2GB DDR3-1600 CL7-8-7-24 1.35V Memory Kit

Gigabyte P55-USB3 ATX LGA1156 P55 DDR3 2PCI-E16 3PCI SATA2 Sound GBLAN USB3.0 CrossFireX Motherboard

Is this board compatible with that memory? The qualified motherboard list on NCIX for that memory reads:

Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3P
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD3R
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD4
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD4P
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD5
Gigabyte GA-P55 UD6

I couldn't find that specific memory on the Gigabyte webpage. Would I need to get another board? Such as Gigabyte P55A-UD3?

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

The mobo and RAM are fully compatible, BUT bear in mind that for the 1600 speed u need set all the specs of the RAM manually in the BIOS.
