Well, If you didnt read the OP I'm getting the exact same Mobo...

As for the Tri-Core Phenom, I dont want an OEM because of the shipping stories I've read about in all of its reviews, bent pins arent nice, and I dont want to go through the trouble of RMAing anything (Im REALLY impatient.)

I want to buy a 750watt, because I plan on using it in different computers down the road. I may eventually get a very expensive video card and I want a PSU that can handle it.

Wait Last question, Ill give you the best answer if you answer this.

You know know it has 4 12v rails rated at 25 amps EACH?

When some video cards require more than 25 amps, is my PSU still okay even though its rails are split? Is the total amperage what the PSU really has to offer? Like for example, a 5770 may require 35amps, can I still use my PSU to do so? Or will it just lead to problems? I want a real answer... I'll give you the best answer if you give me one.

THanks man

5770 needs 35A? where do u read that?

This are the power requirements for the 5770:

450 Watt or greater power supply with one 75W 6-pin PCI Express® power connectors recommended (600 Watt and two 6-pin connectors for ATI CrossFireX™ technology in dual mode)

In futuremark the 5770 use 112W, that are 9.4A or a little more, Why?, Basic Physics Rule or electronic too:

P=VI
Where P=Power
V=Voltage
I=Current

Now, a good 500W PSU have 30A on the 12V rail. Why do u think that a 650W PSU isn't enough?. Even, I'm running my rig with a 500W PSU, when the nVidia site recommended to me a 550W PSU, I can OC my GPU, CPU an RAM without problems.

Finally, if u see here, are the Power Supplies Certified for Single Card Operation, and both the 650W and 750W are in the list.

Sorry that was a bad example, I was merely giving one, but anyways... What I'm trying to understand is where the Video card gets its amperage from... does it get it from the 12volt rails, or what? Its confusing it me.

Let me try to explain further...
A corsair psu has ONE 12 volt rail rated at 58amps
the Antec psu has FOUR 12 volt rails rated at 25amps each

WHERE DO I FIND THE PCI-e POWER CONNECTORS' AMPERAGE?!?!?
