P5s800-vm sata driver

I'm trying to install a Seagate 500GB SATA Hard Drive into a Asus P5S800-VM running XP PRO but the installation is indicating that there is no hard drive even though the HD is detected by the BIOS at startup. I tried to run the SiS driver from a floppy after hitting F6 and it still couldn't get my HD to detect.
