I'm trying to connect my front audio panel to my mother board and nothing in the manual makes any sense.

The motherboard is an MSI 7345. You can find the manual here: http://www.retrevo.com/support/MSI-MS-7345-manual/id/17246ag113/t/2/. The case is a Coolermaster Elite.

The motherboard manual labels the connector pins as

1 MIC_L
2 Ground
3 MIC_R
4 Presence#
5 LINE out_R
6 MIC_JD
7 Front_JD
8 no pin
9 LINE front_out
10 LINE out_JD

However, the female connectors from the front panel are just a snarl of loose wires, and the labels don't even come close to matching the pins on the board. I have:

A black wire labeled "GROUND"
Two orange wires labeled "L-OUT"
Two brown wires labeled "R-OUT"
A yellow wire labeled "MIC-IN"
A red wire labeled "MIC POWER"

Not only do the labels not make any sense, but the number of pins don't even match! I have 9 pins on the board but only 7 connectors from the audio. What on earth is going on here? What cables are supposed to go where? Which ones are "extra?"
