CPU overclocking itself Tags: Chipsets Overclocking CPUs Last response: March 31, 2012 10:48 PM in Overclocking Share Localz March 31, 2012 9:16:38 PM Hi, my CPU recently started overclocking itself. I've tried changing the settings in BIOS, but after a reboot the settings go back to their overclocked state. I also tried resetting CMOS, but the same thing happens again. Any ideas of what might be causing this? Not sure why it was enabled though as I have never touched those switches and it said in the manual they are disabled by default. Can't find your answer ? Ask !
