i have a usb modem e173 and my computer has only one usb 1.0 port i have installed the modem through that port and after installation it was asking for usb 2.0 port for better performance. now i bought a usb 2.0 to pcmcia cardbus and fixed it with my computer windows xp installed all the required drivers and now i have usb 2.0 ports. now after that i have inserted same modem in the usb 2.0 port but windows xp is not installing it and taking it as unkown device another thing that when i insert usb modem windows xp says that usb device is not recognized error
i have tried a lot but no success please if some one can find me a solution i am running windows xp sp3 with all the updates thanks in advance
