Hi guys. I have a P8Z68 ASUS motherboard, link is below. So in the (EFI) bios I decided it was time to oc. It's stock 3.4GHz, but I wanted more. I want 4.1GHz or above. I then changed the CPU ratio to 41. (The base clock speed is 100Mz, is it not?) Then I set the CPU voltage @ 1.304V. This is what I'm reading in CPU-Z and is wrong, o sooo wrong.

What am I doing wrong!? Is this fine?? :(
EDIT: Um, so I refreshed my page while CPU Z was up, and whala it said 4100MHz. But the bus is still ~100MHz. Also, to test this theory I began 'rendering' and the cpu is now fully running @ 4100MHz. So what I'm thinking is that this CPU basically was idle @ 1600MHz? Right?

Solution
Yes, that's totally normal. The bus speed won't change unless you manually change it (and you shouldn't do that). The CPU lowers its clock to save power and ramps up when it's needed.
