So I have been fixing up my system after the original crappy power supply died on me. I installed the new power supply, and had some trouble. Finally got it running... sorta. First, bios screen comes up. Then XP loading screen. Then This:

ALSO: It tells me to boot up in safe mode, but when I do, that doesn't change a thing. It still does, this. Not only that, but it flashes the blue message so fast I couldn' read it till I took this picture. It shuts down and restarts

I am new to building my system, so I am not sure whats wrong.

Specs are:
9800GTX+ (if I remember correctly)
3.2 Pentium dual core
2 gigs of Ram
GA-EP45-UD3L motherboard

Also here is a video I took, before I got the power supply working. That problem is fixed now, but the info might be useful anyway;
video

also a photo of the inside before power supply was fully plugged in

I was just wondering if you've ever run Memtest86+ before. It's always a good idea.

I would guess your error is "unmountable_boot_volume". you just cut off the "unmo" in your picture.

BSOD's are often caused by RAM errors. It's very possible that your dying PSU damaged your RAM. Which exact RAM kit do you have? Have you manually set the RAM speed/timings/voltage to the manufacturer's specs in the BIOS? Have you run Memtest86+ overnight to test for RAM errors?

I haven't manually changed anything. I did go into BIOS and set everything to "fail safe defaults". Haven't run Memtest86. Haven't ever. How do I when I can't even get the computer to start?

also I was looking around. My thing is saying "untable_boot_volume". However alot of problems that sound very similar and say "unmountable_boot_volume" is floating around, and it looks like it would be pretty easy to fix that problem. Is that the problem, and if so, why is it saying "untable" instead?

Yeah yeah, thats it. Dyslexic moment.

So just follow the steps I find elsewhere on the internet?
