Port problem

I have a computer that can't connect to the internet. I think the problem is either the ethernet port in the room or the ethernet port on the switch. The port next to the port in the room is working. I already checked the switch, a ethernet cable is connected to the designated port on the switch. I'm not sure how to test this problem.
 
Start, run, cmd, ping 127.0.0.1 with this you can test the ethernet port of the mobo. If you don't have a reply, the port is dead.

If you a reply, move the PC to a port that works and try with this, also check that the ethernet port is activated in the device manager.
