Phoenix LTD = BIOS maker
6.00PG = seems to be BIOS version
01/30/2008 = last updated date.

Try to run CPU-Z and see if there is a specific model on the Mainboard/Motherboard tab.

Phoenix is the company designing the BIOS software. This software is usually altered by the MOBO manufactured or computer manufacture to optimize is for their needs. Therefore, there is no universal BIOS upgrade, one has to go to the MOBO manufactured or computer manufacture website to look for updates.

Click on the START button, All Programs, System Tools, and System Information.

It will open up a new window and on the right side it will show info I would like to post:

1. Download and run cpu-z. ( http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php )
2. Extract or open the zip file or exe.
3. Run cpuz.exe and open up the mainboard tab.

All of the current information you have provided is useless, as all motherboards would display that and we couldn't identify your motherboard without more information.

Is this a laptop? You can only get BIOS updated from the manufacturer's website (which yours does not seem to have). You can't try other BIOS files from other motherboards and brands as it would most likely brick/break your motherboard.

Looks like a dead end to me.

Thanks for your assistance. It is a PC and I cannot understand why cpuid and Belarc both cannot pick up the manufacturer?

Maybe you could try physically inspecting the board and look for a manufacturer's name, or some specific model number.

Try this link, I believe you have the INTEL 945 chipset and there is a utility on this page to tell you more about it
