I've been putting together a desktop on TigerDirect.com
I'm pretty happy with the build. I just want to check with you guys if it the parts are 100% compatible with each other.
I'd like to add that I already have a 500 GB Seagate HDD and a Windows 7 Ultimate 32x license, along with a DVD ROM Drive, and DVD-RW, the hard drive is SATA, and the DVD Drives are both IDE. I guess I will need a SATA DVD Drive. I would just mention that for those of you who will check if the PSU is compatible/has enough ports.

I mainly need to know if the desktop is 110% compatible, I am mainly worried if the PSU doesn't have enough ports to the rest of the components. So, if someone can comfirm for me whether it does or not, that will seal the deal. Thanks! :)
Here are the links to the parts and the prices:

Graphics card:

99.99 usd

Total is 549.99 USD, including TAX, and shipping.
I don't want to spend anymore then that. But I'm open to ANY suggestions.

I'm looking for a high performance desktop with gaming capabilities, I know.. my budget is too low... but on paper, everything looks great to me, but then again, I don't have much experience with building desktops.
Also, does the combo mb and cpu come with TIM? Or do I have to buy that seperate, do you guys recommend me getting a better thermal compound with this Phenom II CPU? I don't plan on overclocking it. But I might if I find out that the CPU is great for that purpose.

Thanks,

If I forgot to mention anything important. Please ask me :)

Harddrive and optical drive unless I read over it. The CPU and Mobo will work but you will need to buy a completely new one in order to upgrade in the future. I would only go with power supply made by seasonic, antec, and corsair. You should always be wary about the other brands.

Do you have any specific TigerDirect recommendations for a PSU?

About the Motherboard and CPU... What would be a better deal?
In other words, what would be your build in my situation? Retaining price (keep it roughly the same, and don't forget that I want to play games.)

I want something that is atleast as good as my Asus G73, or better.

It has a Core i7 720qm, 1.6 to 2.9 (OCed) GHz, Quad-core.
AMD (ATI) Mobility Radeon 5870. 700/1000 MHz.
6 GB DDR3

Thanks,

Solution
XFX P1-650X-CAH9 650W in tiger and see review in hardware secreet :
advantage is price comparable option in the first post (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applica [...] CatId=1483 64.99 usd ) but the performance is far above it is so very worth for the price and performance, because in Tigerdirect's only choice, if there are brands Seasonic and HX corsairs (both expensive) and we can compare it.

What do you mean by performance? I wouldn't imagine that the PSU can improve a gaming experience?

Thanks guys for answering my questions... I posted in the home built section and got no replies. This will do it.

Thanks again,
henydiah, don't be pressured to answer my question, I will read about it myself online. :)
