I already bought everything stated above for around $288. All I need is a Motherboard and CPU. What do you guys think of this combo? Will the ram that I purchase have any issues with the board?

You can use that RAM. Its just labeled by Newegg for Intel. Dual channel is dual channel. That RAM will work as long as its compatible with your motherboard and its BIOS. Most likely it is.

The specs are almost identical to the corsair ram I purchased except for that I paid $16 less without any rebates. I am pretty sure that there is no difference in ram if the specs are the same. It is like buying a monitor that is Windows Vista ready. Let me know if I am wrong.

How i see, the mobo have the new 785G that is more better that the 790X that you want to buy. And for the same price, you get a new Phenom II BE, that have unlock multiplier for overclock.

mostly because in about 10$ more you get a similar mb but a beast of cpu in comparison to the 710

---------------

Both combo deal have the same price, the difference is that the mobo in the first is more expensive and in the second the CPU is more expensive.

The mobo is not almost the same. One is Micro and the other is standard ATX. The asus is cross fire compatible and the Gigabyte is not. The asus has two more sata and USB ports then the Gigabyte. The only thing that the GYgabyte board has that the Asus doesn't is an onboard graphics card. Being that this is a gaming rig there is no need for onboard graphics.
