Installation of Linux GUI OS in desktop

i want to know my which Linux OS will suite for my PC i have amd Phenom II X2 550 black edition and gigabyte motherboard in which i installed ubuntu 10.04 edition os sound drivers not installed

try mandriva linux--no guarantee your sound will work but you should be able to run it from a live cd before installing it to see
