What graphics card should i get and how much watts should i get in my next PSU? i dont want to use too much money, im kind of low on money. maybe both prices combined for less than 75-125$? I'd like to be able to keep up with newer games like left 4 dead 2 or modern warfare 2.

heres some of my stuff:
intel core 2 quadcore q8200 2.33GHz
1 DVD drive
6GB of RAM
33/31 integrated graphics card(which i want to get rid of)

i have a 300w liteon psu at the moment. its a liteon ps 5301-08HA

i have a pci slot, pci-e slot, and pci-e x16 slot

pcmag's review says my computer should be able to handle a 9500gt but i dont think i trust them, since everyone says that my psu cant handle a graphics card, along with my quadcore processor and etc.

Im not going to be home on black friday for the cheap deals unfortunately

Thanks to those who answer.

What resolution do you usually play at? A 4670 would be a significant upgrade from your current integrated graphics and can run off a corsair 400CX

Comes out to 120, 110 after rebate. If you are willing to work with the price after rebate this 450VX will give you more power for graphics upgrades in the future

I used an ATI HD4650 with a 300 watt generic power supply with no problems. The 4650 uses slightly less power than a 4670 and I was only running a dual core CPU.
However, I am fairly sure that the 4670 would be fine with a 300 watt power supply in your system. Stay away from the 4650 unless you can find a DDR3 model (very rare). The DDR2 4650 I had was very disappointing in performance. The 4670 is DDR3 and should perform much better, and be sufficient for most games at moderate resolutions and mid to high graphics settings.
AMD "recommends" a 400 watt power supply for the 4670, but that is only a recommendation and not a requirement. Most of the forum posts I have read say a 300 watt PSU is sufficient for the 4670.
