Hey guys! I'm 13 and getting my own computer in my room for Christmas! I don't really know much about components and was wondering if you all could possibly help. I'm looking for the best gaming rig possible at this price. My parents don't know anything about computers and I don't know where to start. Thanks for the help!

We need more information (what you need and what you don't) to be able to assist you. We can't optimize for your budget without knowing exactly what components you do and do not need, and we also need to know more about your gaming needs (what you play and the monitor resolution).

If no one in your household knows much about PC components, do you want to build it yourself or are you looking to buy a pre-built machine?
