Hi,

So today I purchased an ASUS M4A78L-M Mobo w/ an Athlon X2 250 AM3 CPU. After installing both and plugging the hard drive in and then turning on the power to test the build the fans on my psu, cpu and hard drive spins, but there is no image on the screen nor blinking of LED lights. I also don't hear any beeps or loading by the hard drive. Now, I didn't have any RAM on the computer installed so I thought that was the problem, but after putting the RAM in, the same thing happens.

What could be the issue?

Thanks.

OS: Windows XP SP1
Mobo: ASUS M4A78L-M
Processor: AMD Athlon X2 250 AM3
RAM: Corsair 2GB, DDR2 5400
Video Card: PNY 9800GT EE 1GB
PSU: Coolmax V600 600W
Hard Drive: IDE Hard drive. I know it isn't SATA, 80 gb

Have you made sure that everything is plugged in, like the CPU 4-pin power connector, the 24-pin motherboard connector, the 6-pin graphic card connector, the power connection for the IDE HDD and power for the IDE HDD as well? Otherwise you may need to flash your BIOS, something I doubt but it may help.
