There are times in life when people need a helping hand; when friends and
family need to come together to help a loved one in dire need of love's
healing touch. The love of my life, my partner through happiness and
sorrow, the object of my affection that helped me realize the dream of
television without commercials has been diagnosed with a rare degenerative
disease that attacks the MPEG encoder, and she needs a transplant. We found
out just this evening when her About screen no longer displayed a hardware
version for her encoder, and she was no longer able to spin up her encoder
to save video streams to disk. Sadly, in this world of corporate
oppression, in this world of "warranties," she and I will have to pay for
this operation. Yet, we are still recovering from her implant operation to
increase her storage capacity. We are asking you, our friends, to help out
if you can. If nothing else, wish us well and help keep ReplayTV 5040
#RTV5040J2CA0107985...just saying her name brings a tear to my eye...in good
spirits.

God be with you all...and thank you.
