Please provide a complete list of your system's components, especially the make and model of your motherboard, memory, specific video card, and power supply. The more information you provide, the better the advice will be for your situation.

Last, go easy on the ALL CAPS. Using ALL CAPS is the same as yelling and that is considered rude on the forums.

Please clarify.

In your BIOS adjust the multiplier up. What do you use for cooling?
Nvm, I see the cooler, just try adjusting the multiplier because you have a black edition processor. There are guides in the Overclocking section of this forum..

The stock speed for the 9850 is 2.5Ghz. Is this a Black Edition or regular 9850? Also, the original Phenoms were not the best overclockers. Please clarify on the version you have.

You've got a great motherboard -- it needs a Phenom II processor. They are on a smaller process (45nm as opposed to 65nm), overclock much higher and run cooler.

The PhIIs also have 3 times the L3 cache - 6GB - tends to boost gaming nicely.

along with the clock speed . . .
