Hi guys,

I just put this box together last night, the BIOS is up todate but I am absolutely baffled at why the temps are running so hot on this thing. I turned off the "smart fan" function in the bios and turned on manual at 100% and the temps have stayed about the same. I've remounted the fan twice because the sensor monitor on the front of the Windtunnel is displaying 00C (I wish) but that doesn't seem to be the issue.

Hyperthreading is enabled, I read somewhere someone disabled it and temps droped by 8c but he also noticed a performance drop as well.

Here's the screens of HM, Real Temp, Core Temp...
31CuD

Suggestions? I am at a loss and I'm not going to dare try to OC is the way it is.

Thanks for the help.

It just seems like it should be a lot cooler. I've read a lot of posts in various places that people are getting 27-30C with a similar setup with their cpu's OC'd to 3.7-4
