Hello,

This is my first post here.

I want to forward port, but I don't know how to do it, I've tried many things, but nothing works for me.

192.168.1.1 - nothing appears
run cmd , ipconfig, my default gateway is 10.0.0.1, but when I enter that address I see :

"Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website."

I've tried with one program pfconfig, but an error occurred

"error 2 :
We could not find that router in our databese. Please tell our support team that you tried to update router ID."

help please

You're trying to forward a port on your router to point to a web server?

You would need to log into your router (I assume we're talking about a router) and go to the Port Forwarding section. At this point you enter the port or port range that you want to forward. You will need to know if its UDP or TCP. It wouldn't hurt to check both of them off to forward though. You will also need to know to what IP address you are forwarding.

Router: 10.0.0.1
Web server: 10.0.0.5

You want to forward port 10,000 to the web server for external traffic. You would set port 10,000, UDP/TCP to forward all requests on that port to 10.0.0.5.

Hi and thanks, I try to forward a port for my utorrent.

here is what I've tried:

192.168.1.1 - nothing appears
run cmd , ipconfig, my default gateway is 10.0.0.1, but when I enter that address i firefox I see :

" Hey, it worked !
The SSL/TLS-aware Apache webserver was
successfully installed on this website.

If you can see this page, then the people who own this website have just installed the Apache Web server software and the Apache Interface to OpenSSL (mod_ssl) successfully. They now have to add content to this directory and replace this placeholder page, or else point the server at their real content.

ATTENTION!
If you are seeing this page instead of the site you expected, please contact the administrator of the site involved. (Try sending mail to <webmaster@domain>.) Although this site is running the Apache software it almost certainly has no other connection to the Apache Group, so please do not send mail about this site or its contents to the Apache authors. If you do, your message will be ignored.

The Apache online documentation has been included with this distribution.
Especially also read the mod_ssl User Manual carefully.

Your are allowed to use the images below on your SSL-aware Apache Web server.
Thanks for using Apache, mod_ssl and OpenSSL! "

I've tried with one program pfconfig, but an error occurred
the port I've tried to forward is 20990

"error 2 :
We could not find that router in our databese. Please tell our support team that you tried to update router ID."

help please

Yeah I'm not all the sure on running apache web servers and what not. You'll need to get into your router though.

10.x.x.x is a reserved private IP address range. I'm guessing you're trying to access it from internal? Which in that caes port forwarding shouldn't matter. Port Forwarding will work when trying to access the web server from its public IP address. The public interface will forward requests on the port(s) to the private IP address of the web server.

Can you explain what problem you're experiencing again and how you have gone about testing it?

Something doesn't seem right here and I think I need to know more about your setup and what you're attempting to do.

i agree with riser we need more info. it looks like your running static ip address. if so then your defualt gateway is set incorrectly because its pointing to your server not your router/isp. unless your using your server as a router?
