I7 2600k runs at 1.044v

for some reason its at 1.044v all i changed was the multiplier vcore voltage to 1.348 and disable turbo boost any solutions?

  1. 1.044v on full load or what? what speed is the cpu running on 1.04V? are you sure it's not speedstep dropping the voltage and speed down? need more info

    Just guessing that you still have SpeedStep enabled, and that you're using the Balanced power plan in Windows. Neither are bad things to leave on (although I personally have SpeedStep disabled and am using the High Performance power plan to stay at full speed 24/7), so I wouldn't worry about it. If that's at full load, then that would be amazing, but impossible, lol.
  3. No, not impossible. Pretty rare though. VID range starts at .50 volts.
  4. Gigabyte p67 and z68 often give wrong vcore readings in third party software. You need to use the gigabyte software.
