APPROXIMATE PURCHASE DATE: doesnt matter BUDGET RANGE :600-700
SYSTEM USAGE FROM MOST TO LEAST IMPORTANT: Gaming with good graphics and the rest
PARTS NOT REQUIRED: keyboard, mouse,speakers,monitor,os
PREFERRED WEBSITE(S) FOR PARTS : newegg.com microcenter.com depends which is cheaper :P
PARTS PREFERENCES: amd + ati average power supply that will not fail after 1 year.
OVERCLOCKING: NO SLI OR CROSSFIRE: NO
MONITOR RESOLUTION : 1920x1200 but i won't be playing on that all the time..

Sorry for the quick reply without links and all but I figured I could still give you some quick input.

CPU: Athlon IIx4 620 (games will be more optimized for multi-core in the near future) or a phenom IIx3

GPU: Radeon 4870 minimum

Power supply: OCZ or Antec 500W

Motherboard: Any asus or gigabyte AM3 socket with DDR3 ram support

RAM: 2x2GB dual channel. 1333MHz should be fine. timings are just as important as MHz. Mushkin tends to have good timings; OCZ tends to be a good brand at low cost

Case: Antec three hundred
