I am building a new system, and received some excellent advice from the community on which parts to get.

Suggested motherboard
Suggested ram

I checked the mobo manual and this ram is not listed. Is it safe to assume it should be fine?

Also, I do plan on overclocking the cpu a little. Will this ram hurt the OC? (i5 750)

More about : selecting ram

I checked the mobo manual and this ram is not listed. Is it safe to assume it should be fine? - Yes... it is okay to use with that motherboard.

Also, I do plan on overclocking the cpu a little. Will this ram hurt the OC? (i5 750) - No... it won't hurt your overclock. I would overclock first, than adjust your RAM timings to specifications.

Hi.

The mobo is a very solid mobo and with a good price. The same for the RAM, is a very good RAM and u shouldn't have any problem running this on ur mobo or with the OC.

Is safe? yeah, if the RAM isn't listed in the QVL of the mobo, doesn't mean that the RAM don't works just mean that the mobo wasn't tested with that specific RAM.
