Dual Channel Memory

If I have a mb that is dual channel can I put in 4 memory cards in (2 duals) and will that work? Or can it run only 2 memory cards to get the dual channel functionallity?

As long as they are matching speeds and timings I think they should all be dual channel.

Hi newcomer and welcome to the Tom's hardware forum.

Dual channel works in all RAM lines since the RAM installed have the same specs. In ur case, u want install 4 stick that I assume are from the same manufacturer and with the same specs, so, the dual channel should works for u.
