Can a fan control adjust the fan inside a PSU?

Is there anyway for a fan control like the NZXT Sentry II to adjust the fan inside a PSU:

If you feel like disassembling your PSU and hot-wiring it to the fan controller, sure!
I would not recommend it though.
Most PSU's are designed to ramp their fan speed up as needed to keep it self cool.
Stopping this from happening could result in your PSU self destructing

Not unless you are into taking risks and voiding warranties.

Modern high quality power supplies often have fans that are temperature controlled by the psu. The psu fan speeds up as the temperature increases. There is no point in taking the risk.
