E6320 can i upgraded?

Hey everyone new to the forums, and i just had a question. I have an Intel E6320 processor and I am just wondering if its possible to upgraded to the E7500 processor. If you need me to post any more information just let me know. Thanks

  7. Yes Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Quad shares same Motherboard Socket
    i.e. LGA 775

  11. Hey 1 last question i was looking at the specs and the PCG for the e6320 is 06 and the design power is 65w and for the Intel Core 2 Quad Q8300 the PCG is 05a and the power is 95 w. Does that matter that it is different?

    What you get by upgrading to it is a higher clock speed and two more cores
    Offcourse it'll use a little more power than the Core 2 Duo
