So I want to build a computer. After asking around, I figure if I need a new everything (monitor and whatnot) might as well go the Nvidia 3d route. But I know nothing about CPUs, GPUs, what mobo to pick, and all that jazz, so I turn to you guys/girls for help.

Essentially I have 1500 bucks, and a blank slate. The bigger monitor the better (although it seems to be the case that the only 120hz monitors are 22 inches... sad face...) Any help would be greatly appreciated....

Why do you want a 120hz monitor so badly? Is there a reason for this?

It's required for the Nvidia 3d, unless I'm mistaken....

Ok, I seem to have gotten myself somewhat started here. I'd really like to run two Nvidia cards in SLI, but I'm not sure of what cards... but here's what I've got to get started...

200 Intel Core i5 750 - 200$ LGA 775, 1156, 1366

200 EVGA P55 SLI 132-LF-E655-KR LGA1156 Intel P55 ATX Intel Motherboard - Retail

It's not much, but it's a start....

Well, tell me what you plan on doing with this rig as it can highly influence the parts you may need and not need. Give some specific expectations and applications you will be running.
