Black screen after windows splash after i boot for 30 seconds how do i fix this

i type slow,after i boot after the windows splash screen it goes black for 30 seconds.how do i fix this problem

when did this start happening? did you recently install or remove any software?

I have this problem too. Also black screen with cursor (i can move the cursor) for about 30 seconds. Do you know what might be causing this ?? Computer performance wise and everything looks so normal to me. JUST THAT 30 secs delay into the windows 7 welcome screen.
