Hmm well I would prefer quadcore because they are newer and can run stuff faster right? I am looking for longevity.

Hey a few questions,

Is that motherboard compatible at running DDR3? Also I heard that the default PSU that come with cases are really... crappy?

1 thing I forgot to mention that I don't need is a operating system. My bad! :pt1cable:

Yeah by how much? If it's a big difference I will just order it later, I am trying to fit this all into one paycheck so I can always buy it later. (I don't mind reformat.)

Thanks again. :3 Quick question, will I need to buy any cords or cables? Or will they all come with the appropriate parts I buy.

Generally, with very few exceptions, new motherboards come with far more than enough cables for everything you could possibly need. I think this is one of the reasons so many hard drives come as OEM.

Yes, definitely, only really make sure you're not going to overclock, it's not a lot of fun to have to remove the mobo and install the heatsink again.

If you wanted to get a different processor and needed to cut costs, do not do it on the mobo, that is not the place. The 400w will still be fine. If you would like a L3 cache around that price go for the Phenom II x3. Its only triple core but will still give you about the same performance in games.
