PSU Question

Hi all:
I am doing a partial upgrade and need a little help with a power supply. The size isn't the issue.....Its the 12+ rails....Right now i run a single G-Force 8800GTX pci-e and might get another because the price's dropping. Should i get a large single rail or multi rail PSU ....Thats the question....ANy help would be great... Thanks............

  1. It doesn't matter, as long as you choose a good quality unit with enough 12v output.
  2. With two 8800GTX's, I'd put in one of these:
    Corsair 750TX (60 amp 12 volt rail)
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139006
primarily because, although the 650TX has enough power output, it doesn't have enough PCIe power connectors without using adapters.
  3. Thanks guys.......this is what i bought....CORSAIR CMPSU-850HX 850W ATX12V 2.3 New Egg.........
  4. ^Nice choice
  5. Thanks for your help guys... I did get a Corsair 850 HS850W modular cable's and is awsome..........
