Upgrade woes

These are my specs:
E8400 @3.6 New CPU (q9400 @3.2)
xfx 790i mb
evga gtx 275 FTW x2 in SLI
4 gig corsair ddr3 1333 pc3 10666
Windows 7 pro 64 bit

Here's my problem when I had the e8400 in (Win xp)I ran a 18,646 on 3d mark 06 I upgraded to a q9400 OC'd to 3.2 (win 7) I get a score of 15,350 on 3d mark 06....What am I missing? Where is my bottleneck? Did I lose 3000 because of win 7???

Could be bad or immature drivers for your cards in win 7.
