Hidden icons on desktop

I inadvertently clicked "Yes" to the question, "Do you wish to get rid of unused icons". Now i can't find them anywhere. can you help

I guess you just used the Right click desktop>Arrange icons by>run desktop cleanup wizard.
or Right click desktop>properties> Desktop tab>customize.

You should have a new folder on desktop created called something like Unused desktop icons or something like that.
Open it and you'll find your icons.
If not, go to any folder and choose tools>folder options.
And check Show hidden files and folders.
Can U see it now?
