Connecting a Netbook to My Wireless Network

Hello,
I am trying to connect my netbook to my home wireless network. The netbook detects the network, but when I enter the correct security key (checked many times) in order to connect it rejects it as incorrect. The settings I entered also match the router settings. What can I do to get the netbook on the network? My Wii connected to it just fine, so the issue is probably with the netbook, not the network, right?

Maybe the router just needs a reboot.

Thanks! I tried rebooting/resetting multiple times to zero results. Capslock is off I am getting desperate

You can always reset the router to factory defaults. Just make sure you hold the reset button for about 30 secs. Sometimes a shorter reset only reboots it. That will definitely remove wireless security and get you back in. Of course, you'll need to add wireless security back and update the Wii if you don't know what the previous key was (which apparently is the case).
