Been thinking about building a system for awhile and changed my mind on builds like 10 times alteast but i think this is what im going with.

i7 860
Corsair DD3 2x2gb 1600 (CMD4GX3M2A1600C8)
Asus Maximus III Formula
Sapphire 5870 Vapor-x
Ultra X4 850W modular power supply
LG GH22LS50 DVD Writer

the only thing that worries me a bit is i have been seeing people on forums alot having problems with 1600Mhz ddr3 working at 1600mhz on 8xx series I7s. does anyone know if there is a issue with using 1600mhz ram on I7 860's??

That would be a big NO on the PSU. It is only adequate quality, has the amps of a 750W not an 850W, and is way overpriced.

Are you buying from Tigerdirect? CompUSA? CircuitCity?
Newegg has better deals and better prices. TigerDirect use to have good deals like 4-5 years ago, but they can't compete with Newegg's prices anymore.
My experience with Ultra PSUs have been bad. I would get Corsair, SilverStone, Antec, Seasonic, PC Power&Cooling, ABS, Enermax, Zalman, OCZ over Ultra.
All the PSU manufactures I listed have very good reputation. You really can't go wrong with any of them.

At the bottom of my list would Sunbeam, Logysis, Raidmax, Startech, MSI, and Ultra.

Iffy Brands are Thermaltake, Xigamatek, Tagan, and CoolerMaster
