What power supply?

looking for an opinion on what power supply you all would go with? evga 790i,q9650,2xgtx280,gts250 for physics,2hdd,6gig memory,windows 7 64bit,antec900case. would like some opinions

^ Corsair 750TX/ Corsair 650HX/ 750 HX if you want a modular...
Though the Corsair 650TX can power the above setup, it doesnt have the required power connectors for the graphics card...but the 650HX has enough power connectors...
And just a question about that setup - Do you already have that setup or going to build it ?

Yes I have most of it ,lacking the two 10,000rpm hds and power supply.

Dont get 2 10krpm HDDs, unless you are running a web server or something else that requires a large number of i/o operations, 2 500GB Samsung F3 drives will perform better

They beat the VRaptor in sequential read/write which is what matters to the average person.

The 750TX atleast since you are going to be running 2 of the older more power hungry GTX280s and a GTS250.

And the GTS 250 is not power hungry - it requires only 1 6-pin PCIe power connector...

I have three monitors two for work 1 to play games while I work.
