Windows 7 not noticing internal hdd

i just fitted a sdd and put my hdd with it i reformatted my hdd and windows 7 isnt recognising it only my sdd , its showing in device manager and its showing i can eject it on the taskbar

Have you opened up Disk Management and looked in there. Also in the bios under the boot tab is the hdd listed , there are two options there boot sequence and storage devices make sure your hdd is listed in both.

you got to partition the drive first then format, use win7 disk to partition and format

Check you BIOS for the SATA port settings. If that specific SATA port is set to hot swap, you will see an eject option in the task bar system tray. It tells windows to optimize the drive for quick removal.
