I'm looking to pay less than $200 for 6GB of ram for my i7-930 gaming build.
My motherboard will be this:
GIGABYTE GA-X58A-UD3R LGA 1366 Intel X58 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Would this be a good set of memory?
G.SKILL PI Series 6GB (3 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7T-6GBPI
Right now, it is only $175, which seems like a pretty good price.

That MB is not rated for 1600, description states "Memory Standard | DDR3 2200/1333/1066/800" Someone is welcome to correct me if I am wrong. I have heard some people state they can't get their OCZ Gold 1600 rated RAM to run on that particular board. Currently running mine at 1333. Would appreciate some info on this question as well.
