It shouldn't matter much...but i hear diamond and powercolor are bad. XFX had double lifetime warranty so you might be interested in that.

Just wondering shadow, do cards like that where they don't push the air out the back of the case mess up the airflow?

I live in Canada though, there's a local computer store that sells for slightly higher price but oh well.

Do I get the XFX, ASUS, or plain Radeon HD 5770? ASUS being most expensive

I'd suggest Sapphire but that's just personal preference,

they have great cooling systems with fans with low noise/cooling ratio.

They're all reference cards, so this wouldn't apply. It really shouldn't matter which brand you get (as they are all the same at this point), but like i said xfx has the warranty so if that's the same price as everything else get it.
 
yep, basically if your board supports CF then you can install 2 cards and add some extra performance =)

correct....

so you can choose between a 4890 or a 5770, being the 4890 is a more powerful card but the 5770 is more future-proof and has a few bells and whistles that the 4890 does not have....
