Ms 7119 drivers

Just wiped out my hard drive and had a friend download the drivers for the MS 7119 V: 1.0 motherboard and everything is working except for all of my USB ports? Anyone know where I can download/update the drivers for the just the USB ports?

Get the drivers from the MSI site, assuming that MS-7119 = MSI K7N2GM-V. You could probably install the Live Update utility and have it search for what you need, as well.

Hey, thanks for the tip...tried it, and no luck but it is a good utility to have for future driver updates anyway. At this point I think I will just have to install new ones in a pci port... any other suggestions?

I know you said that all you did was re-install Windows, but maybe USB was disabled in the BIOS somehow. Is there anything showing up in the Device Manager, such as Universal Serial Bus Controller? If they do show up, try uninstalling them and rebooting. It might detect them and attempt to install the drivers that came with XP or from the Windows disc itself.

Thanks, tried that and Windows recognized them and reinstalled them but still no handshake with any devices that I plug in? This sucks man, but thanks for your help!

Wasn't able to fix the problem...bought a usb card and installed it in a pci slot. Got usb again! Thanks for the help anyway!
