Start by running Windows 7 Compatibility APP and see if your unit can support Windows 7 (hardware & software issues).

I ran windows 7 compatibility and it said I can run windowa 7 on my computer.When I put in hard drive it tells me to run repair and fix it .It does not work.

I forgot to tell you windows 7 is preinstalled on hard drive.SORRY

You certainly know how to muddy the waters. You originally posted you wanted to install Win7. That normally would mean you have an os of XP or Vista, and want to install Win7. Now you say you put in the hard drive which already has win7 pre installed, run repair & fix it.

Where did the HD with Win7 pre installed come from, Another Computer ?
And "fix it" - Is that referring to the hard dirve, or Win7 OS ?

Try to be much more specific with your next response.

sorry,windows was put in by a computer shop which installed windows 7 pro 64bit,fix it refers to win 7 os

Have another,I have a epox 570 motherboard-3gb ram and amd 5600+ 2.9 cpu.Why does my computer say I only have a 2.001 cpu?Iam running xp home.I can not play newer games that take 2.5 cpu
