Use 500 MHz and 800 MHz DIMM together

Hello friends,

Can I use 512 MB 500 MHz memory together with 1 GB 800 MHz in a Toshiba Satellite A 100-250 ?

they will very likely work, though it's not guarranteed.

the 1gb stick would just automatically slow down to 500mhz

Thanks. I tried it and the laptop started up O.K.
I will do a memory check later.
