My computer is a 832gm and i already upgraded the power supply and added 2gb of ram, i was wondering what the best choice for a video card for my computer would be or if i can even upgrade the video card from a integrated chipset because i tried to before and i had to send the video card back because i was having problems. Any help is appreciated thank you.

The best I would recommends is a 4670 or a 9600GT. If that is your pc on the link, then most likely you'd have a P4 or P4-HT processor which would bottleneck cards such as the 9800GT, 4770 and higher models.

^He is right, the 4670 or 9600GT should fit the bill perfectly for you.
There will/should be a setting in your BIOS to disable your onboard graphics, or set it to look to the PCIe slot first for a dedicated GPU. Before you install the new GPU, the first thing you want to do is unistall the drivers for your onboard graphics, restart Windows, and let Windows install the generic VGA drivers.
Then go into the BIOS and make sure the settings are correct, shutdown and install the new card, boot into Windows, then install the drivers for your new card.
