Can i attached 1TB wd hard drive with Seagate 400GB?

I have purchased WD 1TB <Advanced formatted> hard drive and i want to attach with SEAGATE 400GB <Normal formatted>.
Will wd supports and give full performance along with another attached hard disk?

Maybe. If you are running windows XP, you need to format that WD drive with their advanced format tool in order to get the full performance of the drive.
