OCZ Obsidian & CPU-Z noob questions

Hey everybody,

I've been reading and reading and I'm just not sure what to think, so if anyone has time to answer some silly questions, that'd be awesome.

I have 4 2gb OCZ Obsidian rated at 1600, but they don't run it at stock...

So, I have edited the timings in the bios to 9-9-9-24 (recommended) and voltage to 1.65 (also recommended)
I have set the freq. to 1600

As far as I know, thats all I needed to do? Anyways CPU-z still reports a 800Mhz freq... not sure if i'm not counting a multiplier or something, or I'm completely missing something. There was no difference in boot, no stability issues, just a bit confused.
