Install SSD in an HP ZT3000?
Oct 14, 2011, 2:40 PM
Have an older laptop,
HP zt3000 CTO DN545AV
, running painfully slow to the point it is unusable.
Formatting the HDD and reinstalling the OS - does nothing.
Considering replacing the HDD with an SSD.
Would appreciate your help with:
1) Does this laptop support SATA II (3Gb/s)?
2) Will 64GB suffice?
3) any other recommendation?

Just learned that the laptop's interface is EIDE.
Is there a way to install an SSD into this laptop?
