Hello,
I have an HP ze5375us. It has a P4 2.4ghz, a 40gig 4200rpm hard drive,
2 256mb PC2100 ram sticks (for a total of 512), and 64mb shared video ram.
Would I see better gains in gaming from changing the hard drive to a
5400rpm, or by changing one of the 256mb sticks for a 512mb stick, yielding
768mb ram, and thus giving me enough ram to up the shared video ram to
128mb? Also, how do I know what hard drives are compatible?
Thanks,
Richard

RAM is the answer, by far. Disk speed will help you with nothing except
application start-up time, or recording video/audio.
