ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:

My wife has given me the green light to upgrade my current system. I have 600 bucks to spend so I'm looking for the good advice on what to purchase (note anything less than 600 would be brownie points). I have never "built" my own system but am comfortable working with computer parts and such, so I don't anticipate it being a problem. I do not know how to determine if a motherboard is compatiable with a processor/power supply or anything else. As for gaming, I don't need something that runs Crysis at 90fps. I'm looking for Dragon Age, 50 fps, settings better than low.

I'm asking for help or maybe just a link to a build someone has already designed. I've looked thru the forums and seen various listings but not really much commentary on whether the build is "good" or "stupid".

About $660
$600 is pretty hard to do with good graphics
Could drop down to this processor, a dual core will still be fine
