Choosing a 120-128 GB SSD for my new build

Hey guys! I'm buying a computer in the following week and the only part I cannot decide about is SSD. At the moment I've got three options:

Kingston ssdNOW V100 128GB SATA2 2.5" - 141 euros

Corsair Force Series™ 3 120GB SATA 3 6Gb/s - 151 euros

OCZ Agility 3 120GB SATA III 2.5" SSD - 157 euros

Could some one advice me which one to choose? Here's my build:

Thanks for the help!

  1. The motherboard supports SATA 3 6Gb/s solid state drives. That would eliminate the Kingston SSD.

Is the Crucial M4 available in your country? It is a popular SATA 3 6Gb/s ssd that is very popular.
  2. Yes it is available, however, it's 25 euros more expensive than Agility 3 and I'm already hitting my budget limit..
  3. OCZ Agility 3 120GB SATA III 2.5" SSD Would do fine, as would the mentioned above Crucial M4 by JohnnyLucky.^
  4. just got one of these and would recommend it--especially since it was on special offer at £131

    about 150 euros

    550mbs read and 515mbs write

  5. Aren't you concerned that it is a Sandforce 2 drive?
  6. If ya go by THG .....the fastest SSD's are all 240 GB .... 120 GB start to appear at Tier 3 with each tier being faster than the one below by 10%

Could you elaborate on that? I am not very knowledgeable about SSDs.. Is Sandforce 2 bad or something?

    @JackNaylorPE:
What do you suggest? Those above Tier 8 are over my budget and Mushkin Chronos isn't available in my country.

    no-i carefully checked that out

and mushkin held back for 3 months because of the issues other makers had--their drives never had any issues
  10. I guess I'll take the Agility 3.. Seems like the best option out of the three.
