some graphics cards .. has 2 ports .. digital and analog .. and some card has a cable too .. in of analog port to out of digital port .if there is both why it uses cable too ????

its almost like an adapter. But for example if you wanted to run 2 moniters, and you had 2 analog, or 2 digital, you put that cable in and there you go!

The idea is that they provide you with output port for bot types of minitor. Assuming that the default landscape will be one monitor they want to be sure that they can support your type of video input.
But then again you might have two monitors so they also make sure to have back and forward compatibility and provide you with convertor cables so you can happily use both your monitors regardless of their video input type.
